TAEYEON Concert – The UNSEEN – in SINGAPORE

TAEYEON, made her debut in 2007 as a member of legendary girl group ‘Girl’s Generation’ and became popular worldwide. Apart from the group activities, TAEYEON also participated various dramas and movie soundtrack like ‘If’ from drama [Hong Gil Dong] and ‘Can You Hear Me’ from [Beethoven Virus], which proved its popularity by topping the Korean music chart and receiving popularity award on Golden Disk Awards, earning her the title – ‘OST Queen’.

In 2015, TAEYEON released her first solo album ‘I’ which not only peaked No.1 on many music charts but took the top position on US Billboard World Albums. She also held a series of small concert titled ‘Taeyeon’s Very Special Day’. With the exceptionally good results of her debut solo EP, TAEYEON swept all kinds of end of year awards.

Following the success of her first solo EP, TAEYEON went on to release her second EP “Why” which incorporates more upbeat elements such as EDM and tropical beats. The album charted top position on many music charts including music and album charts. She embarks on her first full-scale concert tour ‘Butterfly Kiss’. In the same year, the brilliant singer also recorded the drama song ‘All with You’ for the classic remake drama ‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo”.

TAEYEON finally released her first studio album ‘My Voice’ in 2017 and kick off her first solo Asia Tour ‘Persona’ from Seoul to Taipei, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. With the overwhelming success of her album and sold-out concert tours, in October 2020, TAEYEON makes her highly anticipated return to the music scene with second studio album ‘Purpose’ and embarks on her new concert tour ‘The UNSEEN’.

This new concert tour ‘The UNSEEN’ will kick off from Seoul on 17 – 19 January 2020 at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium and follow on to the first overseas stop in Singapore 01 February 2020 at Singapore Indoor Stadium. This also marks the solo songstress first full-fledged concert in this most iconic concert venue in Singapore. The set list will also include her previous hits songs like ‘I’, ‘Why’, and also new songs like ‘Spark’ from her latest studio album ‘Purpose’.
